Re: ReRe Scorpion build pics
Looks good Jeff.
Do the shocks use two Orings to seal the shock shaft?
Kyosho could have put bleeder screws in these shocks like the old Progress shocks. Much easier to bleed them.

Re: ReRe Scorpion build pics
I decided to put some electronics in it tonight. I had a pretty nice Kyosho Super Stock 34 laying around, as well as a Hitec speed control and servo. Hobby King special for the TX and RX. Even broke out the old Pro Tech charger for old time sake! Chigga chigga chigga chigga CLINK! All done! Lol
Mark, sad to say that Tammies sold their last one yesterday, hope they order more!

Looks good! Just added one to my ever growing "must buy list".
Whenever I tell myself I'm done buying rc for a while something cool comes along, dammit! I feel like a junkie "Just one more hit... i mean kit".

Looks great. It's nice to see a lot of the reworked parts which stay true to the original but will work better. I'm eagerly awaiting one to come from tower.

Re: ReRe Scorpion build pics
wow, the build quality is REALLY good, kyosho is truly sticking to their philosophy - well designed and well manufactured parts. This rr is SURE to sell and sell in huge quantities. It will be nice to see diff hopups. Kyosho hop ups is more than enough even for the serious racer or collector. Plus your original scorpion parts are interchangeable, I guess.

I took it for a quick spin last night in the dark, I am shocked at how smooth it is. The new transmission is pretty amazing!

Re: ReRe Scorpion build pics
Used up the last of my Blue Streak, little bit of Rally Green, and some Indy Silver on the outside. I miss Pactra paints, it's gonna suck when I run out
Three colors Dennis. Three. That's THREE more than I usually use! Lol

Re: ReRe Scorpion build pics
They don't look to be dyable. I have some spare pieces like the sprue but I won't be able to try for a while.
