Hi guys. Are new optima wheels 1.6" diameter? Ive now got a set of rc10 ds tires, and they need a home.

What rims do I need to run modern 2.2 tires on my optima mid?

It depends
Optima mid uses the same offset in the front as in the rear that means that they used rear offset rims in the front so buy rear rims and if you want narrow front rims just cut off the outer part of the rim. Or you could just buy narrow...

Yello... think I'm being a bit thick here, just picked up an original optima from a car boot sale for crimally low cash.. it came 3rd in the scottish finals in the 1980's according to paperwork enclosed so you could say I'm a bit pleased with...

I purchased these narrow tires by mistake, and am now thinking about trying to just find some wheels for the tires. I am wondering if anyone knows of wheels that would be good for these narrow tires to go on my optima mid?

Well, the yellow ones specifically I don't know, but Kyosho wheels that fit rear Kyosho Optima Mid tires are easy, since all Scale Car wheels fit those tires...

Are Lazer ZX(-R) tires the same size as Optima tires? So will they fit onto a set of plated Optima wheels?

hello, as the title says i am looking for new, modern wheels for a kyosho turbo optima mid se as i just bought one and i want new tires but i heard modern 4wd buggy tires dont fit the stock wheels. anybody know a wheel? thank you.

Finding modern wheels to fit 12mm hex adapters is easy...the problem is modern wheels usually have 5mm holes for the axles. Old wheels have 4mm holes as the old axles tapered down from 5mm to 4mm. The old Optima hexes were taper-fit.
