First on tap was to replace the chassis on my TA-03 Piaa Porsche GT2. There is a guy on eBay blowing out these chassis for $32.80 so I had to pick one up. The switch out was straight forward and really it simplifies the chassis.

Finished product

On my TA-02 Starcard Porsche GT2 I added a set of the TRF dampers. Other upgrades are the GPM carbon fiber chassis and the Kawada deep dish wheels.

Yes 25 degree castors will give you zero (30) on rc10. If you use them backwards still zero (30). I have mine reversed to center the trailing axle on the arm better.

it seems that the MIP 4n1 clutch is discotinued at Tower Hobbies. i was looking to replace the stock clutch on my GT. will the spring loaded GT2 clutch work in a GT?

i would like to reuse as many parts from the original GT clutch as possible.

MIP 4-n-1 clutch was great, easily tunable without any modifications. I always found setting #3 the best in my opinion.

So, I am just as much a BMW fan as I am a Mustang fan, compounded by attending IMSA (now ALMS) races since I was a kid. When Tamiya released the 58449 kit, you know I had to get a custom body decal set done so it would look like the real deal....

Has there been a thread on the best upgrades?
I'm curious as to what upgrades people put on their cars/trucks that they felt were just awesome for racing, bashing or both.

I built this rc 10 out of stuff I had lying around and tried to keep it old school with some performance upgrades since it isn't a shelf queen I wanted it dependable. About the only modern upgrade is the rpm rod end cups since they hold way better...

they are fun to drive and work well and pretty durable. I also think they can look pretty scale and thats what I want to work on more with this one.
