Re: TL01 General Lee project
Thanks! I would to see some pictures of your Lee car!
I kind of stop working on this at the moment. I just have the wheels left to build.

Real one followed by unpainted RC.
I have another sticker set and the body is still available so I thought about painting this one. I made a push bar out of styrene but don't know where it has gone.

I was old school - when old school wasn't cool !

Re: TL01 General Lee project
What body is that? The horizontal lines in the front grille are very weird. No 2nd-generation Charger had a grille that looked like that, and my Parma '69 Charger bodies don't have those lines.

Thanks...BoLink's bodies were always somewhat...dodgy...pardon the pun.

Re: TL01 General Lee project
Meh...I don't like that body at all. What happened to all the Charger's sexy Coke-bottle curves??

Re: TL01 General Lee project
Yesterday I finally took the General Lee out for it's first run! It is pretty quick for just a Tamiya Silver can motor running on a NI-MH pack. It is pretty much the only thing that I have that fits in the battery compartment.
I am pretty please with the gearing and handling seeing that this was a 4WD chassis converted to RWD only. Steering is pretty good as well and very responsive with these tires and I think my new driveway helped with that.
Here's some pictures. I will upload the video soon.
