If you build them (or create the parts), they will come....
This would bring me back to 4wd. Car is fantastic.

By the way Lohas just made a copy of the RacePRep aluminum arms for the Radiant... It's on ebay right now but their car is slighty different... it's called the Rediant

Agreed, its a fascinating idea. I only wish I could see the pics bigger. Any chance of getting them full size on photobucket?

I brought this one to the top since I helped Jeff with this car. It just so happens this project has been discussed recently again with some new changes...not sure exactly what that means to the masses just yet, but the way to make the car way more reliable is underway.

Re: 2011 Pro Radiant (belt drive MODERN racer)
And.......back to the top again. I just finally got my hands on a Pro Radiant, and I plan to race ti in the 13.5 class locally. The mods/changes to use modern arms & carriers is priceless (in my opinion).
Now, to get some stuff all put together.
Jeff, if you are still around and have this car - I'd love to see your steering set up, I dont think what came with my car is stock, but seems to be pretty solid. I think it has zero ackerman though...

Re: 2011 Pro Radiant (belt drive MODERN racer)
Stock was a bell crank system that is pretty good. The race prep guys offered an optional rack kit, it was just a rack piece that mounted to the stock parts.

That is probably what I have, but its a bit beat up. The ball studs are glued into the rack portion.

Bringing this back up to the top. As I think this is a great build and I am still trying to mirror it (minus the belt system).

Re: 2011 Pro Radiant (belt drive MODERN racer)
The belt system...I've been trying to teach myself 3d and printing - so I am designing (and redesigning and redesigning) a new set of steering arms for inside the chassis. The stock set up has very bad bump steer with the B44 knuckles. So looking at many others, I see some RC10 steering in them, some with a modified A&L set up. So taking the best of them all (in my head), trying to draw it up, print it and keep going.
On version 6 or 7, LOL.
