modernizing a "brick" (jerobee/jomac)

Had a dead brick so I figured i could re-pack it. Looks pretty original from the outside. I left the heatsink in place for looks, the speed control inside should be OK as its a very mild stock motor. If it gets hot I may have to get creative

why dont u get a el cheapo brushless esc fan and dremel a few vent slots on the case

Do you still have the original electronics inside the brick? Or pictures.
I would be interested to see what they used that time.

ill have to dig through some stuff and see if I kept it. The wires were all chopped off so I assumed it was probably dead

Neat! It looks like you have room to put a fan in there in front of the RX.

Very cool Jeff! When I was going through my early Digger phase I considered doing this. I still want to make a nitro Digger with the nitro version of this chassis one day. One of these days... :lol:

Sadly it has not turned up. I suspect I dumped it as it was chopped and claimed not working
