Most guys will know the Italian manufacturers of gas motors as Novarossi, OPS, Picco and maybe even Super-Tigre. But there is at least one more, Cipolla.
Maybe not really known that much. I´m not sure on the year of this motor. One motor website says 1985 for a similar Cipolla motor, but not completely the same as this one. The instruction was used for several versions and says Master 4. Also you can see the aircraft version with carburator is shown there. This motor is a Master 3.5 car version, as the sticker at the box is saying. New, never run. It seems the car version was sold without carburator.

Let´s have some Italian 8)

I received this about 4 weeks ago - poor quality pictures and a "harsh" amount of money, made me very excited to see what I actually bought.

It was advertised for sale by a "Youngster" about 20 years old, who sold it for his father in law.
What does a kid know about old rc stuff - :D

Phew, no disapointment, just pure joy over this 30 year old race car.

The story was, that it was purchased in 1983, assembled and then shelved.
I can´t understand why - the purchase price in 1983 was about 2000 usd.
How many of us, buys a 4000 usd modern car with a highend engine and puts in on a shelf for 30 years :?:

Pictures.

Hi

Your car is a Columbia is4 made by SG and sold in 1982 (my first suspended car).

Here is one of my is4:

http://a4roues.jimdo.com/voitures-de-piste-onroad/sg-columbia-is4-n-3/

The engine is a Super Tigre "TST". SG made the promotion of this engine but it warmed too on such a car. Your chassis was an option but the alu was too soft and it bent! SG proposed after dural chassis on the MK2 version.

Yes it´s a SG Columbia I.S.4 :D
Thanks for sharing the link, you have a very nice collection 8)

The information on the Super Tigre G21x ? engine is very scarse on the internet.
You really should translate Your Homepage to Danish, we don´t learn French in school, in fact some of us didn´t really learn at all

Google translate is a great tool for internet surfers!

Do you know if there are many collectors of vintage nitro rc cars in your country?

Yes, Google translate is a powerfull weapon. But I never really get the meaning of the transrelated  (That was a joke, no offense intended)

I´m not sure how many Danish 1/8 nitro collectors there is.
If we´re talking hardcore collectors: NIB´s, New build´s, Restorers and massive car parks - there can´t be more than ten.

I don´t consider myself a hardcore 1/8 collector (4-5 onroad and 20+ Buggy´s) I just happen to have a lot of parts

I was informed this tank was made by Techno Racing and used also at several cars from Yu Can (the Delta Eagle copy, etc.), Siccom, Twist etc.

Associated Porsche 917K Coupe. Don´t have information on release date but should be at least 1974 or earlier. One of the very rare 1/8 bodies, also one of my favourites. Don´t know if this will be painted or not.
