The car looks good. Are the Dynotech arms still available? I have a second worlds car from a friend that I am thinking adding the RPM worlds front end to and of course the RPM arms are near impossible to find for my budget.scr8p wrote:those are actually the dynotech arms. your arms are being used for another build in the works.bigjeepzz wrote:Those arms sure do look good on the car

the dynotech arms aren't necessarily all that cheap, either. $9.00 each, $36.00 a set...... plus shipping.

Ok i have a question, what shocks are you running on the front, I built my car with 1.02 on the front and the 1.32 on the rear, i noticed you have the bodies with more threads on the front. did i mix up the shocks on my builds?
Picture of what i did

that's a custom tower i designed for .89 shocks, then had atlas cut it for me along with one of his rear worlds towers.nvxwax wrote:Ok i have a question, what shocks are you running on the front, I built my car with 1.02 on the front and the 1.32 on the rear, i noticed you have the bodies with more threads on the front. did i mix up the shocks on my builds?

Thanks. There's an indoor dirt track about 1.5 hours from me in New Jersey that I want to try and hit a few times over the winter. And, my LHS has an indoor carpet track. I have this car and my runner B1.5 to use and had to figure out which one I wanted to run where. Decided this one would hit the dirt.

Looks sharp, as soon as I saw the the tires I was going to ask if you were running clay and then you answered the question. I jusst ran my rere on clay, silver springs front and back worked well for what it is worth. Same shocks you had.

I had missed this one - looks gorgeous. And very interesting as I'm almost finishing an OIN myself...
(need to start a thread for it but the photobucket disaster has ruined my little internet ambitions lately...)
What piston/oil combo are you going for?
Thanks,
Paul

Re: Another what's old is new build............
Scr8p, your builds may be slow but they are well worth the wait. Like your past builds, this one is a total work of art! I really like how you use a B2 motor plate. These are still readily available, are typically cheaper than the original plate, and I dare say they look cooler and are probably a little lighter than the original plate. I have a B2 runner with a box of parts and an RC10T in pieces so I think I will try to build one of these WOIN cars myself. However, it certainly won't look nearly as nice as yours. I have an MIP swing arm assembly from bitd so I think I may give it a try on this build as well. Cheers and thanks Scr8p for your perseverance and for taking the time to share your art.
