hey i had a quick question. I sow that you used the lunsford turnbuckles and on page 6 you posted the sizes. Would you be able to tell me what sizes you use for what.

is this how you had it?

- (2) 1.375" -front camber
- (3) 1.500" -rear camber
- (2) 1.625" -front steering

thanks

I think it was probably 1.375 rear camber, 1.5 front camber, 1.625 front steering.

Stock lengths are 1.25 Rear camber, 1.65 Front camber, 2.06 steering. With the longer ball cups, a shorter rod works out.

No they don't. I just ruined a set of hubs with two different sized bearings because I had to drill them out.

If you're following this setup make sure to get the carriers with the same size inner and outer bearings. part number is asc9584

Wrong, those hubs are for the exact same car (B44). They will fit with the proper bearings. The only difference in them is the inner bearing size for strength on a 4wd car.

Since I'm new to this forum, I cannot see the b/s/t section yet. Did this car ever get put up for sale? I'm looking to buy a mostly completed project car.

I know those are the Kyosho Velvet shocks, but does anyone know the part number for those springs?

Yep, one of the members picked it up rather quickly if I recall. Might've lasted a couple days max...

Go to Amain's site. You should see them under Kyosho RB5 parts.

I have this model, and [embarassingly] I have not run it.
I do plan to install electronics and run it... someday.

Here's a couple pics with the body Doug painted for me;
((paint scheme is a tribute to a 1980's Kawasaki dirt bike)):

The tires shown above are slicks, but, they are just trued-down knobby tires, if you look closely the patterns of the knobbies are still there.

I have finally run this one! It really runs great!
I am very pleased with the handling, I would love to try it out in a vintage race...
Too bad there aren't many vintage racers down here in South Texas. :(
