a project...finally!
found this on eBay. my first teardown & rebuild project. its an edinger A stamp, the manual says (c) 1984 Associated Electrics.

Could someone school me on what would be period correct tires, or an acceptable alternative. From the first 25 years of the rc10 thread, it looks like the one that came with it are aftermarket (jellybean?). BTW, the rears says Champion Pro Line.

nice to start building again.
the chassis has some kind of dark haze on it and i cant remove it. tried some mild soap then simple green and a polish compound. but nothing. does anybody have any concoctions that might remove it?

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Sponge. I've never used it on ano'd material, but I doubt it will hurt it.
