Rory Cull Rc10 Replica / '91 Euros
figured i'd get a thread started for this build.
i'm going to attempt a replica of rory cull's rc10 from the 91 euros, where he finished 3rd.
i picked up a super nice factory flourescent red chassis and nose plate from noony the other week, which will serve as the platform for the replica.
i do have some of the other pieces i'll be needing already, and have a few other parts sourced from fellow members too. but a strategic purchase recently is gonna help get this build to the finish line much quicker (in 2017 or so ). another update when that arrives.

Damn, you're really turnin' the wrenches lately! That winner's stand looks like a Color Me Badd photo shoot! Classic 90's styling.

Well, if I had gotten a blue chassis, I'd be building the car that won the race.

But I'm sure Jamie Booth has a small part in that

Update...
Here is thr strategic purchase I spoke of earlier, from tommy911t. Clean and barely run.
I also grabbed a new pair of x pattern from him to go with the schuie fronts I've had from racing on hardwood bitd.
Gomachv hooked me up with the needed jammin rear tower.
More in a little bit...

Re: Rory Cull Rc10 Replica / '91 Euros
I'm just excited about some builds I got going on, and need to get going on them before the excitement wears off.
I knew there was a reason i've been hanging on to this 4 hole front tower. I thought it was nicer though. Ah well.
I also have a futaba s131sh servo on the way....... 2 actually. 1 for this car and 1 for my cliff lett replica. The body off pic I have of this car shows a 3x3 1700 sce saddle pack installed as a 6 cell side by side. So I need to break down one of my matched stick packs down and reconfigure it. Then I need to find out what keil battery labels looked like.
Oh, and i'll be getting a jammin rear wing from jay.
