Just think...it could have glass battery straps and early shock cups

I'd be more inclined to have it X-ray'd myself tho

Nice score. I would be very inclined to open it up if it was not shrink wrapped. However even the shrink wrap might not hold me back for long.
I was thinking about a situation like this a week or so ago. I know the price on a NIB kit like this is sky high, but can you put a price on the experience of opening a sealed kit and building it up? It's one thing if you never built an RC10 before, the rerelease would be just fine. But, if you remember building an original back in the day, this kit would be such an increadible opportunity to relive that to the T! I'ts gotta be a bridge to the past without needing a Flux Capacitor.
This is part of why I never picked up a rerelease. If I had the extra cash, I would rather pay a grand to get a sealed box and build up an original. It would be worth every penny! I would take my time and enjoy the build, probably play a little GnR, Appetite for Destruction and dig in. It would be the late 80's all over again for me! After spending that kind of money and experiencing the build taking me back, this car would no doubt be a glass cased shelf queen.

Good find! I think I just missed that one, now I'm kicking myself...

It's a tough decision you've got to make - but not a bad one to have :D Enjoy!

It's already re-wrapped in the bubble wrap, newspaper and shipping box. Going to pass it down to one of my boys along with my other prized cars. Out of sight, out of mind. I hope!
Wish me luck!

Best part.... I'm still married after purchasing it!
