All New RC10B3 Factory Team Build
I went a little crazy and decided to build a B3 FT car from scratch... piece by piece.... I'd hate to see how much I've invested so far, lol. It has been fun tracking down all the parts I need. There are only a few parts left to find. I decided to go with white wide body wheels too, even tho yellow is pictured. I have the rears wheels on the way but still need fronts. I have the correct rear shock bodies coming as well since the new ones I bought were a different color than the "old" front shocks I have. The only used part is the transmission, but I am rebuilding it and will be using NOS outdrives. Other than a body, I think I have it all.... finally!
I'll post as I go. I have another build taking priority at the moment so it may take a while

X2! There was a great period of time where you could get them for next to nothing. They were all over ebay. May still be, but I haven't looked in a while. Looks like a fun project.dldiaz wrote:I'm a big fan of the B3!

I know what you mean... I ended up with about 5 of them!THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote:X2! There was a great period of time where you could get them for next to nothing. They were all over ebay. May still be, but I haven't looked in a while. Looks like a fun project.dldiaz wrote:I'm a big fan of the B3!
I have three runners and another two in partially built status.
(I probably have enough B3/T3 parts to build another one or two on top of those;
everything was so cheap for several years - what was I supposed to do, not bid ???)

Very expensive way to build a B3. I would think you could find a NIB B3 still at a fair price?

I'm sure you are correct... I just got carried away... I actually won a used B3 on eBay and got a message from the seller a week later telling me the chassis was cracked and he cancelled the transaction. By this time I had already purchased a bunch of replacement parts.... One thing led to another and I decided to go all out. Should be sweet when completed thoslotcarrod wrote:Very expensive way to build a B3. I would think you could find a NIB B3 still at a fair price?

Just picked up this Stock Trinity motor for the build. Only thing left to track down is the front wide body wheels in white.

Re: All New RC10B3 Factory Team Build
Reminds me of my B3 blue metal build. Similar insanity.
I have a nice Andy's B3 body I bought for another B3 build still in the package if you are interested. Or you might be going all stock.
