Been there, tried that. There's 26 pages on here from the last attempt. In 2009 it was protected to cost $500 too. Time will tell, keep the emails coming....just don't hold your breath

It's called a joke.

You guys can talk about it all you want, but I heard enough about it last time.

Jeff, in light of this i feel we should stop all development of our 4wd rc10 kit immediately.

Yeah, I'm giving this low odds of happening too.

Probably should be on Myspace instead of Facebook.

Welcome to the board though Patriiick. FWIW its unlikely you'll get the scoop on any developments on the vintage RC front on anyone here. Do a search, and find that thread to read for fun. YOu should go ahead and check out the one about RPM rerelease of 91 worlds stuff too. If you ARE interested in the potentiality of a 4WD RC10, check out gomachvs and mkzeros thread on their joint development.

It all comes down to projected demand and whether that will offset the cost of developing and manufacturing a re-release 4-10 kit. I, for one, would gladly buy one, and I doubt any of us would complain if such a kit were re-released. Even if the chance is small, I'd still put my hat in the ring for one. No harm whatsoever in emailing Matt and letting him know you'd buy one, on the slim chance that they'd actually do this.

That being said, I do wonder if such a re-re would be designed for the crummy re-re Stealth gearbox, or for a proper stealth gearbox, which uses the single piece idler gear and idler shaft. I don't imagine how it could be for anything but the latter, and since AE still sells those gearboxes, it shouldn't be a problem.

It couldn't work with the junk world's stealth, it needs the bearings in the case not the idler. Still, and easy thing to buy.
