The Stealth tranny is absolutely the way to go with modern brushless setups. Heck, it's the way to go regardless. I used to race back in the late 80's with the 6 gear, and it sucked. Sucked then, and still sucks. Spur diff ball slippage will always be a problem. I run a Stealth in the car I have now and it is worlds ahead of the old 6 gear. Heck, that "old" 90's stealth is basically what they still use today. Keep the 6 gear if you want a shelf queen, put in a Stealth if you actually want to run it.
As for your first post, I really didn't understand 80% of it. What was the talk about the B4? And conversions? I didn't get that at all. But I will say, the B4 is a great car, and well worth the cheap price on the used market. For about half of what you'll be spending on fixing up this A-stamp car, you could have a nice B4 ready for the track. I run both, but just sayin'.......
Please help me with this build!
