Not a Tekin I don't think, possibly a CC chassis :?:
Experience is that marvelous thing that enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

That's easy, it's an MIP RC10 Mid engine conversion kit I'm 100% sure at least for the motor mount, rear assembly. As for the chassis, I can't remember. I have the same chassis kit. I want to say MIP? MIP was one of the few companies that mad a lot of after market hop ups for the RC10 and that was mostly what I bought. My whole kit was the mid engine conversion, the chassis and the MIP stealth diff. kit which is extremely smooth.

Well I know its not a tekin i have a tekin mid engine car and its nothing like this car. MIP that would be cool. It was a kit I bought it in a box the mid engine CF chassis , rear shock tower and rear sway bar all in one. And chassis is drilled differently just for the parts that make it a mid engine. And then it uses all stock A-arm and mounts.
All i know is it handle like no other RC10 I'v ever had. and it fast as all hell.

it was made by Advanced Racing Products. the chassis, bulkhead, motor plate, trans brace, and rear shock tower.

NO I not mad because you said it was a tekin. I was just stating that I know it wasn't .
If you ever net a chance to to buy one grab it there really a cool car.

Thanks scr8p for the info. I alway wanted to know what it was.

I race this car for a long time An it did pretty well in off road. And then I change it to a on rood car.And have played with it and on road race it here and there at track on open track events.

dose any one know of anyone that may still make a on road body that would fit it? bake in the day I had a BMW 325 on M3 body that fit it like a glove. and was wide enough to fit the wheels inside the body. but that was so long ago that I don't know who made it.

That looks like it will clean up nice. Are you going to restore it back to kit original?

Oh thats too cool. Thanks for the scaned page.

Yea it needs to be cleaned realy bad. I should go outside and clean it and take some better pic of it. But it only 23F outside today in TN.

No I'm going to leave it the way it is for now. I run this one all the time. Its been a street car for most likely over 8 years. I just wish i had the BMW body that i had for it a long time ago.

Have you got a pic or dimensions of the BMW body, I have a few odd sized 1/10 buggy fit that might do

Well as long as it 9 1/4 or 9 1/2 wide. And the wheel bass is around 11" it will work.
I really don,t care what kind of car the body is as long as its not a NASCAR body. no left turn only body

Yea that looks like a BMW rally body that would work if it would fit. that's a really cool car.

That is made the same way my old body was made. It has really big hips around all the wheel wells.

Yea let me know. I would realy like that Thanks.
