Re: How do you display your rc?
thats about 1/10 of crap I have cornholed all over the house and most of my stuff gets ran and ran hard so nothing worthy of pictures usually . Tried getting it all in one place and successfully...failed
They handle great on an oval and there for awhile once parts were getting hard to come by just started buying up trucks for parts. Kinda snowballed from there . Those are about half of the ones that run...got tons more in crates that have something missing here or there. Also, always on the search for the straight chassis which are few and far between.
those are upstairs and in the overflow areasSpeed Chaser wrote: ↑Sun Sep 03, 2017 10:06 pm Everyone has their thing lol. For me its unique touring chassis and 90s yokomo
just a heads up though...if I ever had a fire I'd be screwed. Insuring something like a habit doesn't come cheap and my slot car collection would take a helluva loss...

Re: How do you display your rc?
Has anyone thought about using one of those 3d frames to display an rc? I recently went to one of my friends house and he had one of these:
And it got me thinking that would be awesome for a pan car. It would look like its floating.
Also awesome collection tamiyadan.

Re: How do you display your rc?
Years ago in a bar that had a race car theme, they had what appeared to be 1/10 speedway type cars displayed on a large board that was painted to look like a section of road. It was at about a 45 degree angle off the wall above the bar. Almost looked like cars racing on a banked track. At least that's how I remember it. It was about 15 years ago and it was in a bar

I keep my TRX-1 at the shop in a glass-front book case. It's sitting on a can of Plasti-Dip with a couple of 1/25 scale static Mopars below it.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Re: How do you display your rc?
Just a curious question. Do any of you have special display or case for your favorite rc?

I use sink drain tube as they come in white and you can cut it in whatever length you need.
And yes these shelves are for the favorites the others are cramped in the bookshelves on the opposite side of the room.

Re: How do you display your rc?
I've wanted to try something like this and just hang them on a wall like art. You could call them wallers instead of shelfers. Not sure how it would interact/affect the suspension. Prob need to tweak the wire some.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Re: How do you display your rc?
How does it mount to the wall? Just a nail? The 4 extended hooks are for holding the chassis right?
If it can give a look like this
I am all for it.
