Hello forum from Toronto Canada

Post by RCDAD »

Hello good folks of RC10TALK! I hail from Toronto Canada, been a customer at John's Photo and Hobby since the 80's for those who
know the area.... Joined today after finding this site last night while trying to identify a little gem I picked up at local auction yesterday.

Im not so much into RC as I used to be, but now have two young kids and am getting a small collection of cars together for them
to enjoy. So I guess you could say that I am indeed back into RC lol.

I look forward to meeting some new folks and thanks for having me!

Not around much as I used to be. But welcome and we're not that far apart. John's apparently has an extensive vintage parts collection that I think He's waiting to cash in and retire on.
Sleeps with a night light on, not because he's scared of the dark but because the dark is scared of him...........stay thirsty my friends

Haha want the map to the goldmine eah? It was in Toronto but its hit and miss.. Usually china copters and junk if any but once in a while
there is some decent stuff.

Last year I got a couple of nitro trucks and a traxxas platinum series stadium for 50$ all in great shape. turned into approx 1,000$
worth of cars, kept them all 8)

Ive been surprised that he has stock when I have fixed up older cars. Havent been there is a while though, I tend to look on ebay where

Whereabouts in the GTA are you located? We should all meet up at some point to bash our runners around a local BMX track :)
