You will love the Reventon ESCs. Do yourself a favor though get the Pro version. Nicely packaged with an internal on/off switch.

You can get Hobbywing Just Stock Club spec sec's from Amain for $50 each. I have 3 of them and they are very smooth.

Re: JK's re-re Racer build
if just running stco. THe reventon stocks can be had fo rlike 35, a reventon s around 50. and a reventon r with boost (and a 3.5t limit) for around 70. 80-90 if you want it in a combo with a motor. the s and club do not have boost, they come with a program box.

Re: JK's re-re Racer build
I'm over the boost stage, been there-done that. If I need more speed, drop a faster motor in ::note:: those that have seen me drive know, I dont need more motor, a 10.5 is above my driving level most times

S doesn't have boost. R and Pro do. I've had all 3 and all are real nice.

Re: JK's re-re Racer build
My understanding is the "S" is 40 amp and the "R" is 70 amp as well...I'm pretty sure there are some deals to be had out there on these speedo's. Just confirming my paypal balance before I pick one or two up.

Joey, what's your current setup (oil, piston, springs) with the gold shocks?

Black/Green (regular springs)
Soft/Soft (Team C springs) - these feel the best right now on the small bore shocks

Re: JK's re-re Racer build
Been doing some Vintage racing here locally every other week, we have been getting about 7 cars (if you call the losi XXX vintage ). Just couldnt get the rear end settled down last night, was truly frustrated. So I decided to look over the car this morning. Maybe my chassis is tweaked?
I did a quick refresh of the car thursday night, havent really paid that much attention to chassis wear - was really just cleaning up the dirt from the last outing at Glen Helen (a very loamy loose track).
I dont think there is any question, this is a RUNNER!
So I was looking over the chassis for tweak, front looks a touch bent, back looks decent to okay...thoughts?

Re: JK's re-re Racer build
Those custom G10 towers are sweet! Do you hand cut those G10 parts or have them cnc'd? Ever determine if the chassis was a problem or something else causing handling issues?

Re: JK's re-re Racer build
The towers are cut on a 'pin router' very similar to a manual CNC process. I took the car back out last weekend, no issues (no handling issues I should say). Dont know what it was, probably my driving that was making the car act weird. But I usually go over the car in between race days and tighten anything that looks loose, straighten anything that looks crooked. Its so automatic, most times I dont even realize im fixing a problem.
