I sold a phone outside of ebay and got paid through Paypal and now I have no access to my account. Anyone else having trouble?

I did this morning (10:00 GMT) but the problem now seems to be resolved.

Is there a way to use gift cards on Paypal?

i used to use gift cards via paypal all the time, you just add it as a credit card.
but recently i have found that while they let you add it and it confirms some cards won't authorized a pay pal payment.
bummer because i get alot of gift cards...

When selling here and guys paypal you what is the fee?Is it dependant on the amount sent or flat fee.I dont want mike to get screwed by helping me so need to know this and hes more than glad to help me out so can sell off all this ive accumulated...

You can connect your pp account with your bank account if you do not want to use your cc. However, if you want to use it to purchase items it will take a few days to clear e.g E-checks

I haven't seen much talk about this, but I have seen a lot of complaints about ebay and paypal.

Amazon payments seems to be a pretty good service with NO FEES for payments to and from individuals, here is a link to their FAQ.

yep, that's exactly what's happening. What I believe caused this ... the Buyer won using his userid and then paid with the wife's Paypal account. It seems that the bill to and ship to addresses differ, causing the Paypal security software to panic....
