Good luck, it's a good time of year to be at Lackland. Don't let them get you down, after a few weeks the TI's will loosen up a little bit. It's an exciting adventure you're about to start, use the education benefits and make the most of your time in the Air Force. I hope you can fold shirts really well, and take shaving cream, not gel trust me

Good luck on your new adventure! I remember leaving for MCRD Parris Island, SC back in 1997 like it was yesterday. I have some tough memories from boot camp, and some great ones (more of the latter). I'll offer one piece of advice for military life though - it's what you make of it. Those who complain, probably didn't put much into it. I enjoyed my time, but had to say goodbye. Again good luck.

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.... Goodluck man. Just keep reminding yourself, the whole basic thing is only temporary. It is amazing what you can put up with for short periods of time... Of course, Air Force has a slightly different bootcamp than most.

Good Luck Gregg.

Hope this doesn't mean you'll soon be getting into flying RC planes now!
