Of course it will! Thanks Bo for the chassis and pieces, blended with a Turbo Raider (shocks and small parts) and a dead Rocky I got at a garage sale. Not looking too bad IMO, I've always been a Rocky fan and remember all too well the unique sound...

The standard Rocky body is much better looking than the Turbo version in my opinion.
I feel the same way about that, as well as the Optima. The original Optima body is one of the best designs ever. It's such a b!tch to paint, though. So many curves...

hello All,

I just picked up a turbo Rocky in one of the lots that received recently. I know a lot about the car in the fact that I was raider based and an entry level 4wd.

The car is in pretty decent condition, but there are a lot of things...

Want to know the differences between the 2.

So far from i have read.

Plantium Shocks.

Sway Bars.

Alloy Chassis.

Uni's F & R.

More bearings.

I think the motor was better on the Turbo.

Body shell and Decals.

Anyone had one??? Are the Rockys...

I have just started on my Turbo Rocky.

I always wanted a Turbo Rocky cause of the higher spec's that they came with. So i bought a rare Turbo of the bay here in Australia for a steal of $130 . I hated the lines of the ugly poxy shell so a new TBG...

This is the 1st 'Hobby Grade' R/C I bought, Tower was blowing 'em out for $49! I shoulda bought a case! But I did buy 2, and the 1st one became a Beetle- Stock bod was too fugly for me then. Got a Novak 610-RV, a 7-cell SCR pack, & a Monster Mash...

What a steal. They are a rare buggy these days. Lots of Rockys always listed but many Turbo's around IMO.

I recently added a Turbo Rocky to my Kyosho collection after spotting one under a RS200 body on eBay. I owned an original Rocky back in the 80's which I sold at some point, but I picked up and restored another one a couple of years ago. I never had...

Yes it would. They're in the queue! Hopefully this winter. They actually don't need too much work and I plan on occasionally running both, so I don't need/expect perfection.
