need model number for Kraft transmitter 27mhz

Post by greene-r74 »

Since I can't think of 25 things to talk about to get my status high enough to post in the want to buy section. I'll just ask a general question. I bought a nice late Edinger car on ebay. The car was complete with the exception of the transmitter. I will describe the rest of the radio gear as best I can from memory and maybe someone can help with a model number for a possible match for a transmitter.

Its a Kraft 27mhz receiver about the same size as an older futaba AM receiver. I don't have the receiver in front of me but approximate are 1-1/4 wide, and about 2-1/4 inches long. Its black with the servos plugging into the end of the receiver instead of on top. The servos look like standard Futaba s148's

I've been looking on ebay for about 3 months and have not found any Kraft 27mhz anything. Transmitters, receivers...nothing.

Any ideas on where to find such a beast? I'm thinking about giving up and selling the car as is. Or pulling the electronics and dumping them on ebay.

I have one of these radios still, and always loved it. I still have it with it's receiver and servos in like-new condition, but I am not thinking of selling it. It's sentimental value as one of my 1st radios is special to me.

I wish you luck on the ebay auction.

Me neither, I've been looking for 3 months and that just went up. I wonder if a forum member saw this and listed it.
