Does anyone know if there is a servo saver kit which is still available that is a direct replacement in the gold pan cars?

As in the bellcranks, or as a servo horn? The DS/GT bellcranks are still availiable via tower hobbies and have an integrated servo saver-

So do the new metal gear servos no longer require Servo savers?

I took my time before sending my S6240 Spektrum in for warranty but a mere 3 weeks after sending it in I got it back.
No more rattles!!! Horizon sent me a new servo. I haven't even put the cap back on the receiver yet. Works great.

I know it seems like a dumb question but does anyone actually use servo tape to mount a servo?

I'm looking for other ways to mount a servo because I am running out of real estate.

Yeah I've moved on from it on my servo. I've come with a couple things that make eleviate some space.

I'm building a lunchbox for my nephew's x-mas present. I'm going to keep it box-stock as he's 7yrs old and doesn't need any additional power. What modern steering servo would you recommend?

any old standard servo will be fine, if you are using a futaba radio, say a S3003. or whatever is the stock servo with the radio brand you are using. It doesn't usually matter(or shouldn't), but I think its a good idea to stick with the same brand...
