making a runner, Graphite or Gold pan?

I have 2 10s i picked up last week. One graphite and one gold pan Edinger. Neither are complete enough to run with out stealing parts from the other.
I have not experience graphite before and leery about using it.
I am not going to bash the heck out of it but a few times at a track is the goal. Depending on the month will depend on how aggressive the track is.

Which would you choose?

i have to agree...I have built 2 graphite cars, i end up pulling it all off and putting the parts back onto a tub...

This is my runner what i use it every week . At first it had the fiber glass shock mounts and the original slipper on but i have went for the b4.1 slipper and graphite bits and bobs. The yokomo rear wheels are the wrong off set these are...

This is my start to a gold pan runner build. Milled the chassis at work and rounded over back of chassis where it attaches to the motor and also rounded over the nose piece and cut it the same shape as the 6309 nose. Then sanded edge of chassis all...

Added the battery strap today and got the turnbuckles and ball ends a cleaned and installed. I will eventually add titanium turnbuckles but these will be fine for now.
