Very cool Jason.

You mentioned that they had a bunch of bikes they built on the show at the shop? I've only seen a few episodes, but I thought they always gave the bike away to someone, a customer or whatever. I don't know, maybe that was just on the few shows I saw.

quite a few of the bikes were built for "make a wish" type deals, or auctioned off for other causes/foundations once the companies were done with them (promotional stuff). occ would then bid to win those bikes. the foundation would get the money, and occ would get the bike back to display. there was 2-3 of them, and one was the bike they built for the new york yankees. i can't remember the others.

another bike, i think it was the gillette razor bike, once the company was done using it for promotional reasons, they had just packed it up in a warehouse. i don't remember exactly how it happened, but occ got them to give them the bike for occ to display instead of it just being packed away.
