Screw guide

Post by esaresky75 »

I was thinking about this and if no one has notes written down, then I will next time I disassemble a gold chassis RC10. A guide of the hardware used and where each size goes. Last week, when I took apart two Kyosho Rockys to wash all parts, I didn't have to keep the hardware separate because the Rocky manual shows the size for each step of assembly. I don't know about B2, B3, etc manuals but the RC10 manual tells you to open bag xxx and etc, you all know what I mean. Only a few steps show the size/length of the hardware used on each step. Just a thought.

Maybe fastener or hardware guide would be a better title? :P I'd like to know all the ones that were used on a DS. That is unless it tells you in the manual. I haven't looked to see.

It would definately be of help to me. As a newbie who is hoping to embark on a number of RC10 projects/resto's I think that replacement of the screws etc will be the hardest part!

I have a manual, but a few times I was a bit confused and my car had mis amtched screws on quite a few parts. I'm still wrapping up small things on my first buggy.

So I'm not the only one, a guide is needed. Looks like I need to take one for the team and buy a new, sealed in box Gold Pan RC10.
