Are people runing mini servo savers on the servo too??(i dont want to run another servo saver) any help would be great...i think this is the correct forum fo this.. i posted this about my t4 in the truck forum but noone said anything .. i just want some insight on this cause i rebuilt the servo saver on the b4 and loosened the one on the t4 a little.. if i missed something id like someone to say something b4 i break 2 more servos..

Had a guy with a t4 and b4 break both servos one night. The built in servo savers aren't that great. Once he replaced the servos the next week he broke both sets of steering arms in both of them in one night. As far as I know I think he ended up putting some steelgeared servos in them both and haven't had any issues since. Not sure though since he only ran them both at the end of last years good weather a couple times...

no broken servos ever in 3 yrs racing B4's and B4.1's... Heck I even ran a solid avid alloy bellcrank (no more servo saver at all) saturday, and still no breakage...

Don't loosen the servo saver but get a proper servo (torque and metal gears) instead. Loose servo savers save the servos but make the car not handle properly. I've been very happy with a $60 Savox 1251 the past couple of years.

X2, guys have been gluing their B4/T4 bellcrank saver since 2004- the Avid set is great!

This servo is a beast for the money, if you go that route.

thanks guys. i lost hope in servos after my buddy spent like $60 on a "race spec" servo from china and broke it in 1 run.. looks like the name brands are still the way to go..seems like the off beat "deals" are always a bad idea
