Yea, but the Orion Ones i was looking at are stick. The saddle ones seems more expensive. Might consider it though.

Well as said I saw the kyosho guys testing a new lazer chassis with stick pack on one side, so you still have the academy and lazer as an otpion soon.

That's cool. I used to race at the old track in Cherryville back in the late 80's early 90's. I wish I could remeber the name of the the place. Oh well. It's cool to see somone from my neck of the woods on here.

Was it down a long dirt road and the shop a single wide trailer? If so that was Joe's Hobby. I remember that place well.

Joe was a good guy. That place got me started in about 88' I guess. I took a long time off and started racing again about 3 years ago.

I wish the track that was out were still open. They closed down about a 2 years ago, and I just recently got back into RC's. Where is the track in Cherryville now? Next time I go to Gastonia to visit family I might try to swing by there and check it out.

It's about a mile so off 150 right where Doug Herberts used to be. Here is a link. Drop by one Sunday we have a good crowd about every week.
