MMS Model Motor Sport Advert 1992

Post by CAT3K »

MMS Advert from RRC March 1992

I knew MMS made plenty Schumacher/Tamiya parts, but I didn't realise that they made Yokomo parts, anyone ever seen them?

Nice advert, thanks for posting it. I've got / had every one of those bits NIP apart from the Manta Ray motor mount and MMS stuff is nicely made. MMS did a good line of motor brush heatsinks too in pretty colours. Not much use anymore :-(

This is cool! I remember having a fair few parts on that advert, apart from the inner transmission housing - my dad made a few of his own on a CNC machine at work, he also made finned motor plates, I wish I'd of kept the car with those on, good times.

With parent sponsors, I could only dream of MMS parts back in the day

I remember looking at the parts : £49.95 for the full tranny housing, £27 for the diff, £15 for the layshaft. Then there was the eccentric bearing housings and top bearing housings at £17 and £13 respectively. That's £120+.... the whole Cougar was only £99
