Yokomo MX-4 Shell

Post by Scoobster »

Guys i need your help, i'm looking for a Yokomo MX-4 Body Shell and Undertray, i have had one on back order with a LHS but as yet nothing has turned up so if anyone comes across one collection dust in their LHS or loft please let me know. Or if anyone know where i might find one.

Part Number is ZM-104 i think

Also i have a PDF copy of the manual but there's no Part No. list with it and i would like the part numbers for the rear wing and wing mount so if anyone know's the part numbers or has a link to a part number list that would be great

Thanks

Del

Hi Del,

The part numbers you are looking for are as follows-

ZC-110C: Yokomo Wing Mount Set

ZC-107W: Yokomo High Downforce Wing

In regard to the rear wing, the specification/design has changed slightly compared to the rear wing that was included in the MX-4 kits.

All I can say is http://yokomousa.com/

Click "shop" on the side bar and search through the part #'s

Body/Undertray - ZM-104
Wing ZM-107
ZM-XXX is the majority of MX-4 parts

The bulk of the stuff they have is on-road, but they still have a good amount of MX-4 and YZ-10 parts. I've re-built my MX-4 with about 50% new parts that I bought directly from them (shock towers, a-arms, rims)! The body and undertray are some of the parts they still have. Call them up too, they are awesome with help and ship very fast. I hope this helps.

Also, give mikedealer a PM! He's got lots of MX-4 parts too.
Old school racing all the way!

Thanks carloco8 it's just a shame that the UK yokomo distributor isn't as helpful as Yokomo USA and i guess with everything here in the UK being at bumped up prices the cost of a call to Yokomo USA will cost me as much as the body shell would

if you wanna wait a week or two, i have new mx-4 shell and undertrays, i have been in the process (for a few months now lol), of finishing my vaccuum forming machine and making some custom bodies. i am a lazy bastard so i havent finished it yet nor ordered the molding/casting supplies i neeed to make molds lol.

i am going to try and get it done this weekend and order the supplies, so its possible i may be able to make a repro shell if your interested in a week or two if you wanna wait

I will probably try and make some more modern b4 shells and possibly restyled b44 shells, gotta get in while its hot ya know lol
