That looks great, love the paint. It was a build like this that got me into this vintage stuff - Eau Rouges example I believe.

What body is that? Looks like a Mirage Turbo but without the side ESC lump and flared sides. Very nice!

I have a mint newbuild World's on the way to me now. I will be switching the original yellow wheels for alloy ones.

A rim is a component of a wheel.

Bicycles, for example, have rims that are connected to the hub via a set of spokes. Assembled, they make a wheel.

If you're speaking about the cylindrical part that connects the tire to the axle, then it's a wheel....

i've been contemplating exactly what i wanted to do with this car. i had plans on converting it back to a buggy, but i believe i've changed my my mind. this is my first rc10, bought in 92. since the day it built, it has seen nothing but oval racing....

Started an intro thread here:

But figured I'd do a separate resto thread since that had some Kyosho references in it.

Me and my Dad used to race all our stuff back in the day...finally dug everything out. it all works...just time for a clean-up...

Hmmm - well 72mph and the first signs of trans problems! However, it didn't help that I tried to hold the thing still while trying to heat up the tires. DOH. They stuck better than I expected and I heard some belt slippage and clicking. It was fine...
