Hi Asso_man

Is that chassis from Fibrelyte or ComCom ?
Because ComCom was a german company that made Tub chassis for almost all makes at the time.
I think Asso_man!s is an original first run Fibre-Lyte chassis 8) . Just to keep it correct I also think Atomic Carbon commissioned Fibre-Lyte to make the parts they sold, I don't think they were the same company :?
Experience is that marvelous thing that enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

I emailed them (fibrelite) about a month ago in regards to this chassis, and they quoted me at 80 pounds. I guess about 160 US. They didn't seem like it would be any trouble, but I think I trust those on the forum who have tried and not been successful at trying to get one. Too rich for my blood anyway...

Yup, my bad, my chassis is indeed a ComCom chassis, I even have the decals for it 8) I bought it from Chewbacca (a German member who is not so involved here these days ). I would really like to build something around it, but the major problem is that the rear pod of the chassis is way too wide (like 5 mm on each side  ), I don't know why they made it like that, and I'm SOOOO afraid to ruin it while cutting it :?
