Compared to the XLS the XL CAT....
...does not have turnbuckles
...steering bellcranks does not pivot on the brass inserts but on the screw itself (nut on top)
...has rear stabilizer bar
...has zero degree front shock mount
...only has one hole setting at the top rear mount on the gearbox
...is narrower at the front and rear (no extra spacers) and as such has a narrower steering rack
...also has shorter slider shafts
...wing wire is mounted on the top of the shock tower (XLS is mounted on the lower mount)
...normally built with only one chassis post (the one where the servo is mounted on)
Some early XL CATs have the gullwing rear shock tower and the grey bumper as seen on the SWB CATs
Hope this helps
