blow the dust off

Post by Wicked6 »

Well after getting back interested in the rc sport I decided to pull the car out of storage. it started life as a buggy and went through many stages. I guess this is the last stage before I put it away. I was excited to pull it out. My question is what arms do I have up front. I believe they are associated but are they 10Ts? Rears are RPMs.

It is always nice to pull out an old rc.

Hard to tell from the small pics what arms are on it. May need to link some larger photos.

Sorry guy's had to resize to fit them and made them too small. I will resize and fix them in a bit.

Arms look like Associated CE long arms to me.

Thanks. When you put the car away for 25 years you don't remember what you last did to it. Like I don't know why I would have bought a new set of trans cases when I bought the stealth trans. :?

Well, they're good to have now!

What direction are you going to go with this?

I would like to do a wide stance buggy with the 2.2 wheels. A full "resto" would be in order. I really like another thread in here from Percymon . His runner buggy looks great. Something on those lines. I will probably tear it down after Thanksgiving. Has anyone tried to re-dye nylon parts? I want to try dyeing my purple parts black.
