I have searched a bit and came up with little, can anyone shed light on the evolution of the front bulkheads and motor plates? I am piecing a Jrxt together and have a slew of different mounts and towers

Ok so I’ve been reading over some real old threads, namely about TQ10’s. I came across the info that the black motor plates on them were only for the 6 gear. Honestly never realized or tried to swap out motor plates between the two transmissions to...

Got a wide chassis 7+5 :shock: that I can't seem to figure out. Is this a non-associated chassis? Looked at all the manuals and don't see one in this config. Also got a narrow 6+4 that I think is a 10lss just wanted to verify.

Check McMaster carr for lapping compounds. The clover stuff is reasonably priced. The choices they offer gives you an idea of the surface finish you might be looking for.
