Bru-Line super system wheels and hubs
Ever heard of these? I recently digged this Bru-Line (patented!) wheel system from my stash and thought I would share some pics as I've never seen them mounted on any car so far. Quite oddly, as I find the concept pretty unique and (you can basically combine a number of different hubs and two-part rims available in different thicknesses), but probably a tad overdone from an engineering point of view (multi parts, additional screws, weaknesses, extra weight) and hence less attractive to racers. Heck they even thought about including air release holes on the sides of the rims that you have to line-up when assembling. It obviously felt into the obscure and odd RC category of forgotten parts and maybe this is why I keep them although I don't have the correct suggested rims to mount them on an RC10. Please share your pics, memories and thoughts!

Re: Bru-Line super system wheels and hubs
I asked for opinions on them myself a few months back but didn't get much in the way of useful empirical data.

I've got a monster truck set and a buggy set and TBH the more I play around with them the less I care for them. They're a neat concept and they look nice but the plastic looks like they'd break easily. They're also pretty heavy for racing.

I have a set of the track-adjust wheels too, for a Kyosho 4WD. I plan on mounting them on an Optima project.Hcp22 wrote:Parma had a similar system back in 87’

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas
