Re: 3 versions of the 3 degree arm mounts?
Chassis holes are ok.
So if reproduction #6360 mounts are 1.5 degrees (like originals) what are these mounts that comes in Worlds kit? Instruction manual update coming?
As you all can see in the picture below mount is far from beeing 1.5 degrees. I took that black mount out of my old racer replica.
If angle is 1.5 degrees, in 150mm distance pin line should move inwards 4mm.
If angle is 3 degrees, in 150mm distance pin line should move inwards 8mm.
Groove in wood sheet is 5mm wide...
I don't need to look after 3 degree mounts. Just use those in the kit. I'm

Re: 3 versions of the 3 degree arm mounts?
Heh and to bring it back full circle the re-re mounts are like the square end #7363 3-degree mounts in the RCCA scan I linked in the original post of this thread. Could be AE used one of those old 3-degree mounts as the model for the re-re mounts thinking it was a 1.5-degree mount.
Which would mean sometimes bad QC can be a good thing.

Re: 3 versions of the 3 degree arm mounts?
So are the rere classic and rere worlds rear arm mounts actually 3 degrees per side? I don't suppose there are any difference in the chassis mounting hole positions on both rere chassis compared to an original?
Re: 3 versions of the 3 degree arm mounts?
If they are, I'm a little annoyed that I just paid $20 for t2 3 degree mounts.
That's good news, though.
Has the AE rep on here seen this thread?

Re: 3 versions of the 3 degree arm mounts?
Spewing seen mates re re worlds last weekend and it has the same toe as the rc10 i had there that day which has 3 degree rear mounts. Sadly I spent around a hundred on 3 sets of three degrees arm mounts recently. The same guy with the worlds had a classic with hardly any toe like 1.5 ish definitely wasn't zero an I mentioned he has the hubs mixed up and what do you know 4.5 ish or noticeably more than the worlds.. So from what I have seen the re re worlds has 3 degrees per side and the classic has more ,closer to 4.5 degrees. I edited this to tidy it up and make it more legible.... BF

Sorry, I've read this ^ about five times now and I still have no idea what you're saying...
Re: 3 versions of the 3 degree arm mounts?
Sorry for a late reply but here's a pic of Tims RC10 worlds rere. Tim did say his car was stock out of the box. You can decide for yourself. Looks like more than 1.5 to me.

Re: 3 versions of the 3 degree arm mounts?
Hi Guys,
Just found this thanks to Niki and mk-Zero,
So,
Re-re 6360 rear arm mounts 3 degrees?
Re-re 7364 Worlds rear hubs 0 degrees.
Re-re 6365 Classic rear hub carriers 1.5 degrees?
6360 + 7364 = 3 degrees?
6360 + 6365 = 4.5 degrees?
6360 + reversed 6365 = 1.5 degrees?
Cheers, DaveM.
