Ed.... EWwwwwwwwwwwww... MRC?! Isn't that like the 99 cent store version of RC buggies? hehehe .. just kidding... I've taken a look at one or two MRC cars in the past and as AE dude already pointed out - I also wasn't personally impressd enough by them to collect them. They looked like knockoffs (kind of like what Bluebird did with their Ultima knockoffs - they kind of look the part but upon close scrutiny, you can tell they are lower quality).
So Ed is now going to tell us he has the largest MRC collection in the world and we just got through dissing the brand... Yikes!

if I had the largest MRC collection in the world, I wouldn't be proud of it and tell everyone, the kind of secret you keep even when burriedInetRC wrote:Ed.... EWwwwwwwwwwwww... MRC?! Thats the car allright, and it's got the sticker of one of the best french magazines I was reading back then. (Really helped improving my french)Asso_man! wrote:Here is a pic from a 2 wheel drive MRC Santana
I recognize it by its imaitation option house gold shocks and the gearbox construction.
One thing seems different though: I don't remember it having this shell. Even the name doesn't ring a bell
All my old magazines are in boxes in my homecountry, so Iwon't be able to check for a long while still.
Another obscurity would be the Mustang PB or was it 'maxima' ? (maxxima?)
I would love to get holds of an MRC, such an interesting chassis concept, arms and stuff can be replaced with todays stuff for me anyway.

Don't worry, I'm not an MRC fan really, just rc-fan. Still would like to have one to toy around with: take it apart and see what Ican come up with.
Never heard of Bluebird, got any links for pictures?
The Ultima is my favourite among the cars I own and still own.
Does anyone know anything about the maxima or mustang PB?
(I guess i should start a separate thread really: turnining around the subject is not too polite to the originator of this one. My apologies.)
