Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10
Even the trucks went back to buggy length bellcranks on the gt and T2....the long arms change Ackerman and probably would not be desirable
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10
I can make a comparison diagram 10T bellcranks (rear holes) vs Worlds Car bellcranks (front holes).
Then we know...

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10
OK. As you can see from pictures in first page, I'm using long wheelbase setup for nose plate and still front holes for Worlds bellcranks. Works perfect.

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10
Check that thread again... Joey is using b4 caster blocks, Niki designed for rc10 caster blocks. On a B4, he wheel is a little 'further out' from the hinge pin. How much... maybe 2mm? But enough to make it too wide. I would love to add trailing axle and front hex to my quadra-mid gold pan racer.mk-Zero wrote:Joey's car was outside the limits, might want to check with him...Beau S wrote:Niki,
So, this design has the front and rear Track width maxed to 250mm, Roar Limit, using B4 drives, hub, hex, and std rc10 front casters with OG inline axles?
I read thru all 4pgs and saw this kinda scattered through comments. I'm just dbl checking the width, and strict need for the front suspension components.
thanks

My racer pictured below is an absolute blast to drive. The quadra suspension and longer wheelbase transformed the car. I took 3rd place of the class of 12 stock buggies last night. I am planning to run two local club racing series this winter with this car in 17.5 blinky.

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10
Here's what my steering setup looks like with the Nix arms. Also, the front is exactly 250 mm wide. I'm using rulux wheels all around.Vale wrote: Could you show us please ¿

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10
Jason, your Mid looks great.
I just made beefier rear arm mounts with 2 degree and 1 degree anti-squat. Both 3 degree toe-in / side.
Do we need 3 degree and 0 degree anti-squat versions also?

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10
What drill and tap's would you suggest using to prep the printed parts? Obviously an 8/32 tap for the rear arm mounts. But what else?

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10
Well, you'd use a #29 drill bit for the 8-32 tap. You can use a 4-40 tap/#43 drill bit for the shock screws on the arms.

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10
V2 parts ready. New arms are much stronger around hinge pin areas and rear arm has a new bent shape.
