SFC K's HPI RS4 Pro 2
Picked this up here from Incredible_Serious. It did not come with a body, so I painted this up today. I was going for the Nascar truck theme without all the stickers. It was really hard to get the right lighting as the paint changes from green, to teal, to purple.
Hope you like.

That turned out great. Really like the spazstiks paint myself and always liked the green/purple/black(?) version I used but man was that stuff hard to see in the dark corners at the LHS track If I hadn't been holding off for another purchase off the board that would've been heading my way after his last price drop . Bodywise I think it works perfectly though

That turned out really cool. I'd it were me I'd go with some blingy sluminum wheels to go with that gorgeous paint job.

Re: SFC K's HPI RS4 Pro 2
Thanks Todd! I like this paint as well. I picked up the Spazstiks paint on FB from a guy for free. I had to purchase a can of black baker though. I was a little hesitant at first because it came out so clear the first couple coats. It is really easy to get runs in it, so for those that try it, go slow.
Thanks Alex! I have a bunch of parts on the way to finish up the chassis too the way I want it.

That body looks great on there. I'm hoping to pick up an RS4 in the near future.

Thanks and you should! I have an RS4 Sprint 2 as well which is very similar to this chassis layout. Here are some pictures of it in its current state.CruzinCustomz wrote:That body looks great on there. I'm hoping to pick up an RS4 in the near future.

How do you like the Sprint 2, I though about picking one of those up as well.

Re: SFC K's HPI RS4 Pro 2
I like the Sprint. It has some areas that need to be upgraded, i.e. stock ball cups are lose, (replace with RPM plastic ball ends). I also upgraded the front and rear diff, with locked in the rear and one way in the front and CVD's. Depending on what you will be doing with it, some upgrades are not needed. I added a lower belt guide and rear belt tensioner as well which cost little to nothing. Other than that, I have been very satisfied with it.

Re: SFC K's HPI RS4 Pro 2
Had some fun drifting at the office yesterday with a friend on the armory drill floor. We had a great time and I got some video's with my GoPro camera as well. I still need to tinker with the editing software though before they are ready to post.
I also painted up another body with what paint I had left from the Spaz Stix cans. I did not go to heavy with green, to teal, to purple paint but the effect is still the same but less noticeable. I think it turned out pretty sweet. I just need to finish the stickers and cutting and trimming the body.
Overall, great weekend for drifting.
Here is the Pro 2 next to my Sprint 2 chassis. Very similar in layout and both drifted very well.
Lexus body with some new paint.
