Hey guys,
New member here and first meaningful post...I think.
Does anyone know what the resistance is on a stock 12i/e speed resistor should be? I've tried testing and old one with a volt/ohm meter and can't seem to be able to figure it out. I'm curious to know if I can use a Parma resistor intended for a slotcar controller as they are available in a wide range of impedance's and I'm sure one would probably work on an RC car.
RC12i/e speed control resistor value?

Typical rc resistors are 1 ohm or less, where slot car controllers are usually up over 4 ohms and up to 45 or so. Associated didn’t tell you the ohm rating like Parma did, but the Orange were for onroad and the green for off-road.
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas
