Thanks. I'm so out of the loop on this stuff. I just dont want to ruin any of the parts since they aren't readily available.

Nice cars! I found a carbon TA02 chassis FS, but there is no price..just says make me an offer. My rear body mounts don't line up with the gt2 holes. Would you happen to know if there are different rear mounts Could use? I flipped the to the other side but they aren't very stable.

Those are the full set of body mounts that came with the 03 series of cars, and I can confirm that they were supplied at least with the 03F-S, so should fit the 03R-S. Most likely, if you have the bent mounts on the rear and the holes don't line up, then the long straight ones should. You should be able to get a pretty good idea by mounting the bodyshell on just the front mounts, and looking down through the rear mounting holes - if the holes line up with just in front of the rear shock tower, you'll be good to go.

Thanks. I only have the straight ones. I think I need the bent ones.

I was applying grease to all of the gears in the rear. I notice some flex between the gear on the drive belt and the gear that comes in contact with the pinion. It is moving to the point that it is binding. I am not sure why when everything is supported and in place.

Well turns out what I thought was dirty grease in between the gear teeth was actually tiny rock.

You guys think denatured alcohol is safe to use to clean them?

I also ordered a full set of ball bearings for this car

Wd40 doesn't mess up plastic parts?
