ProSC10 with a buggy body?

Post by jeremiahrc10 »

Hello people, has or is anyone running a buggy body on their ProSC10 short course truck?

I searched up the web and found a thread where someone did it to their SC10, they mounted a J Concepts Illuzion Losi 8eight body and a Ofna wing and mount if I recall correctly.

It looked fairly simple to do with the photos provided showing the custom made body posts for the font/rear.

I tried searching up the body and its discontinued.

If anyone has made the switch to a buggy body, can you tell which make/model/part # works best?
Also what wing/wing mount did you use?

Here is my ProSC10 chassis.

I tried my Serpent SRX-2 MM body but its to small being 1/10.
I was thinking maybe an Associated 1/8 buggy body of some sort?

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

I used a J Concepts one for a Tekno buggy...fits pretty good if you don't mind not having a nose.

I initially went with a homemade setup, but ended up with a mount for a 8ight I believe...can't recall at this point. Here are some pics of the newer set up. The wing was a cheapie from Dollar Hobbyz.

Sweet, thanks again and the photos are a big help.
I will head to my local hobby shop and see if they have the body/wing you mentioned or something similar enough.
