built this a bit ago , but its been sitting on a shelf with no electronics
been afraid to run it because of the cost of all the nip andys parts I put into it

yesterday I said what the hell ,added some electronics and let her rip
glad I did
did have to take of the body since it was rubbing pretty bad, but its fixed now for the next run

I built this rc 10 out of stuff I had lying around and tried to keep it old school with some performance upgrades since it isn't a shelf queen I wanted it dependable. About the only modern upgrade is the rpm rod end cups since they hold way better...

they are fun to drive and work well and pretty durable. I also think they can look pretty scale and thats what I want to work on more with this one.

Hi Guys,

Can someone help me?

Did Andys wide front arms come out before Team Associated released the RC10 CE with the wider

front arms?

Or was it the other way round?

Thanks Jason, I forgot about the Graphite.

That gives me a new idea for my RC10 buggy re-build!

I wanted to go with short arms, but the set ups I read suggest to forget the short arms and go for

the long arms for better handling.

Hi guys,

Currently putting back together an Andys RC10 conversion.

Anyone got or know if anyone has done a reproduction of the front shock tower? I don't appear to have one. Rear shock towers seem ten a penny on the bay but fronts are missing....

saw this and bought it.. looks like andys chassis but what is with the front bulkhear,shock tower ,shocks,wheels look losi... i really hope its a aftermarket rc10 front bulkhead and not a losi... any thoughts/opinions on this

I bought a Andys rc10 wreck from Ebay whitout a body.
Does anyone know what body that will fit?

When I got my RC10 it was the base model. Now that I have a bit more money to spend and parts are a lot cheaper (and better) I thought about chaining things up a bit. What are the most effective upgrades I can do? I won't be racing, just having fun...

Most of you have seen this truck before, however it now sports a shiny new chassis (thanks Scr8p), nose plate, motor mount and trans housing so I thought it deserved another airing.

I'm missing white battery boxes, servo blocks and an antenna...

Awesome thread. I love the early truck conversions. And, this settles it, now I know from the pics that my Jrx2 was definitely a JG conversion.

scr8p, I think most companies had a choice of bodies you could get with the conversion. Chevy and Ford...
