I couldn’t locate a Porsche 962 body that fits this chassis. The 962 I did find is 200mm and will work better on a Tamiya F103 GT chassis. Luckily I was able to get a couple of bodies in the size I needed from Andy’s. A Mercedes sauber body.

And a Toj.

I need to get busy and trim those bodies out.

On Friday a shapeways package came with my Toykid Beach Buggy kit. Overall the pieces are very nice. The body will need some smoothing before painting it. The rest of the parts look like they are ready for primer and paint. Gonna have to...

I used a whole can of Rust-Oleum sandable primer gave up on that and then used 5 coats of 2K automotive filler primer and pounded it until it was running off the bottom. then sanded that smooth. sealed it sanded that smooth again and painted it....

Bring a blower to the track aka road because sand and foam tires do not make for a fun day. He will laugh until you blow by. Black dot rear foams are the ticket. Dual stage front foams are good for a little more life on asphalt.
