If you go to oldrc.com, you can still get a red or white one. When I needed one I used the white one and dyed it black. Incidentally if you'd like to have a set of RPM front arms, I've got a set that I'm never going to use.

I broke one on my GTX (same parts) recently and found a white one on ebay for less than $15 and then painted it black. I also bought the trinity front brace so it wouldnt break again. I have one RPM front arm and one stock one, so Im sure that the stock arm will be next to break.

I've also got a set of stock arms (front and rear) that I'm never going to use if anyone needs them.

Who knew back when I had a pile of these and was giving them away they would be come so hard to come by. I would pay a machinist for a nice aluminum one. In the meantime when you find one run the factory works front brace.
You need to get longer pins, LOSA602 and LOSA5017 are options and probably others if someone has a bunch of 1/8 pins laying around from somethign with close to right length.[attachment

Then I recalled that i had something in my stash... which I should have installed a while ago instead of breaking expensive bulkheads

Re: i know it s an LXT classic, but ...
I don't have any RC10 or traxxas suspension pins handy. Would be nice to know if any of those 1/8 pins or other cars may have had right length pins we could use as well. There is probably some other one out there that may be easier to source. It just needs to be close enough as you use spacers anyways. In the case of mine that is one M3 conical washer slipped on each side.
Nice work on the stash, I cannot count the times I have bought something only to find I already had it.

Funny you talk about your stash this way... happens to me all the time, like "LOOK I SCORED THAT UBER-RARE HOPUP FOR CAR XYZ" (goes to box written XYZ to drop it in) "HA CRAP SILLY ME ALREADY HAVE THREE OF THEM"
It actually happened to me with a kit once (Boomerang re-re). I mean, seriously...

Also check your shock shaft stash. Can run a nut on one end and clip on the other. People will think it’s custom
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

JEff - yes, the second reference quoted by rcveteran above is indeed a shock shaft!
