Thanks, I am going to go brushed and run a Hobbywing 1060 for its small footprint. Incidently, shorty Lipo fits perfect in the traditional side to side placement. A longer screw at each end that hold the little plastic pieces on locks it in perfect. This configuration leaves room behind battery inside chassis too. I also may have enough room if I use a small steering servo for the receiver. Just need to get around to it.

Built this ultima last winter for some vintage racing at my LHS Trains and Lanes in Easton PA. We race on grey carpet indoors during the winter season. I thought the gear diff and available sway bars would make a good racer. After I first got it...

Hi,

Anyone using the kyosho ultima stabilizer? Any good?

Looks identical to the original. And , yes, they do help, on smooth , high traction surfaces...
Some small adjustment is available, the end links, are hollow, you can move them up and down a small bit, for tuning.

I'd like to mount a shorty Lipo across the chassis on my Ultima ReRe and have found this on Shapeways:

There's not a lot to go on based on the Shapeways page...
