They obviously had different labels throughout the production of the series, so quite possibly a running change in label suppliers or production techniques. What about the rest of the motor? You mentioned that it appears to be the genuine article...is there a way to authenticate it by the sum of its parts? Armature charachteristics/balancing methods, windings, common hardware, etc?

I am rooting for authentic, but am no expert.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Ah thanks for that dude, I needed the reassurance on this one! It' was hard to gauge because everything else is 100% authentic.

Glad it's not a fake, must have been an earlier model than those pictured with the solid labels?

I have no opinion on the matter of authentic or not. I just think that its a darn good looking motor. 8)

Looks awsome! Not quite as good as a tamiya pink Acto Power, but real close! F

Were there ever Monster Horsepower Pink Label motors with a silver can (Trinity not stamped or engraved at bottom of can) and a black plastic Epic endbell? Endbell is held onto the can with the two tabs on the can, not screwed to the can. All pink labels I've seen so far are black cans and say Trinity on the endbell. This one looks fishy, or is just me?

Thanks Mach. I had purchased some springs and brushes from him a while back, before getting a suspicion after seeing some of the motors he was posting. Good to know.
