The template is for drilling the extra two holes. You reuse two large holes. The trans brace you have is not correct for using a lethal weapon on a C2. It’s for using a lethal weapon on a standard rc10. The C2 pushes the bulkhead forward a bit. I’ll need to make you a trans brace

The super short 4-40’s are for the gear cover

The 8/32 x 3/8 are for mounting the trans

The Phillips screws are for the spur gear

PM sent, much appreciated!

On a side note, it turns out that this is not the body for the C2 chassis :?

Just notch it.

The rear will require trimming for the torque arms.

That is so tempting! I want as many white parts on this as I can, because fibreglass chassis' look great with white parts and stainless hardware.
Frankentruck wrote: Sun Jun 26, 2022 12:51 pm I think all I have is black nylon right now, but I'll double check if I have enough white nylon left. The white can be dyed. I could also eliminate any features you didn't need, like the ball stud mounts.
It looks like I might have enough white nylon. If interested, PM me a mailing address and any modifications you want from the standard bulkhead design.

I'll most likely notch it and call it a day, thanks for the pic!

I found some goodies that are perfect for this build, NIP white ballcups. The Lunsford tierods might do for now, but I might see what's out there for options.

Yeah, I love these things! They have that period correct look to them. I used them on a past build of mine. I'm definitely considering them.

Not the best pjc to show the fitment, but the body is on. I had to trim off the back end to get it to sit flat and put the rear mount on the front of the rear tower. I might see if I can still mount the back part separately.

The question is, should I ream out the body holes or leave them... it is going to be a shelf queen so I don't see the need.

I've decided to go with gold shocks. I'm using truck shocks in the back, but need buggy shocks in the front. I'm going to have a hard time matching the anodizing front to rear, but I'll give it a try. I've already got mixed matched shock caps for now.

I think I'll source out some diamond wing mounts for the wing. Should look good with all of the line work.

Just get a Factory Works tower for the truck shocks. I have them on two of my cars.

Can’t say it in your gallery so I’m saying it here, you’ve got some fantastic builds. Top notch pieces, this ones no exception.
Who do you race for ?

That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.

Both have 1.02 truck shocks. V1 on the right side and V2 on the left. The ones on the right are setup a little shorter because of the Andy's arms.
